Really I just need to know what, if anything, will or will not work from my intake. I have a 2000 5.3. Will my injectors/TB work, or do I need to go bigger? Thanks.

 

it'll all work. blake is running on his stock tb and injectors from his 01 4.8. if you plan on doing too much more to it you might want to look into some bigger injectors but the stockers should be fine for now

 

If you do a 6.0 swap you can keep it all. Those injectors will go along way! Im still running my stock 4.8 injectors and they are at 70%

 

Im still running my 4.8 intake and injectors on my 6.0

 

I plan on using my stock 5.3 stuff for my swap everything I have read has said it ALL switches over and is good for a decent amount of hp.

 

I am doing the same swap. 5.3 to 6.0L. every thing switches over. You need to get it tuned so it well run right.

 

rollin20's what else you have done to your truck to run 13's?

 

The 24.7lb injectors come in the 6.0 stock so youll be fine. Same as whats in your 5.3.

Pacestter long tube headers, homemade intake and a crappy mail order tune. Im putting my 16s back on and im gonna do some tuning to get a little more out of it. Im hoping to be in the 13.6-13.7 range next time i go to the track.
