Default 6.0 SWAP

I UNDERSTAND THAT SOME OF THE GUYS ON THIS BOARD HAVE DONE A 6LITER SWAP INTO A 1500 SERIES ALREADY. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I'LL RUN INTO? I KNOW IT'S A BROAD QUESTION, BUT I ONLY WANT TO DO THIS ONCE. ALSO, WHO MAKES STROKER KITS FOR THE LS1 SO FAR. LUNATI IS THE ONLY CRANK I CAN FIND SO FAR. THANKS!

HELLO!!!! I have done alot of research and hope to be riping into my truck in a month or so. from what i understand it is prety much a bolt in ordeal. i have been told that my truck(a 99) has smaller injecters and they may need changed but newer trucks don't have this problem. I have also been told that computer work isn't required right away but for the best performance is a good idea.

i have alot of concerns that haven't been adressed but the people that have done the swaps make it sound prety easy. a few of my questions are...

is the intake tract the same on my 5.3 as the 6.0(throtle body? MAF? intake?

will the flexplate from my 5.3 work on the 6.0?

are there any oil cooler lines or anything like that that will have to be pluged or bypased?

what is the absolute best header i can buy? what about best converter? if your going to have the engine out you have to throw in a converter.

THANKS! I'LL CHECK WITH SCAT, OR MAYBE HAVE MINE OFFSET GROUND. THE NICE THING IS THE 6.0 ISN'T IN A TRUCK AT AL RIGHT NOW, BUT ON MY FLOOR. LEAVES ME MUCH TIME TO FIND THE RIGHT COMBO. ALSO, I WORK FOR A CHEVROLET DELAER HERE IN KS, SO PARTS ARE A LITTLE CHEAPER FOR ME IF THEY ARE GM.
