Default 6.0 header ?

So i have traded my 04 in on a 06 vmaxx, my question is i kept my headers from the 04 which have the catted y-pipe, and i know the 6.0 liter has the duel pipe setup, how bad would it hurt performance if i was to use a catted y-pipe on this engine? Im trying to use some of these parts that i now have lying around. This truck will eventuly get the maggie but not sure what kinds of results i will see with the 112 on the 6.0

I'd just hood the headers to the dual exhaust and sell the Catted Y. But either way it should breath fine.

You can do it either way. It won't hurt the performance staying with a 3" catback or going to a smaller dual setup. Performance will pretty much be the same.

I called dynatech today and they are out of the 6.0 mid pipes both catted and non catted. I wouldnt think twice about doing it if i had a 3'' ory like the lpp's but these
dynatech y-pipe for the 5.3 seems small.
