Hey, i emailed whipple so i can get some info on pully size and part knew i needed for my 5.3 to 6.0 swap. So my question is,, what all do i need for the swap as far as my whipple is concerned? i figured just a new pully for my intercooler setup, and the water pump pipe that sticks out the top. i dont need a whipple calabration due to the fact ill have new injectors and tuning.

DREW,WE DO HAVE THE PULLYS YOU NEED BUT YOURS IS A DIFFERENT SITUATION.YOUR DOING A SWAP FROM A 5.3 TO A 6.0 THERE ARE SLIGHT CHANGES ON THOSE.YOU ALSO NEED A DIFFERENT CPU CALIBRATION.THE ONLY WAY I CAN DO THIS IS IF YOU SEND THE KIT IN TO US LET US GO THROUGH IT AND PUT IT TOGETHER FOR THE 6.0 AND RECAL THE CPU.WE DO CHARGE $150.00 FOR US TO GO THROUGH THE KIT AND $150.00 TO RECAL THE CPU.ALSO ANY PARTS THAT ARE NEEDED WE ADD TO THE KIT AND CALL YOU BACK WITH THE TOTAL PRICE.IF

 

Thats BS. You better pull that whipple computer and buy injectors before you send them that kind of money. There is nothing physically different in the morors, or the whipple kit. They need to set the extra injectors to put more fuel in to make up for the added cubic inches.

 

i already got the injectors waiting to be installed.. all i need is a 3.5" pully and water pump pipe.

 

and if you think im gonna send ANYTHING back to whipple... well,,, i wont.
