Oem fuel rails may be ugly as a loaded baby diaper, but they can supply enough fuel for 99% of most engine builds.
Wasting money on holly rails is silly.
That money can be ised for something usefull such as the latest bushing trunion upgrade, given his cam is going to beat the **** out of the oem needle bearings.
Wow 99% huh. Amazing

He has the Holley rails. You still have to make the stock rails work. I've seen bare intakes go for $75. If he decides to go with a fast, he already has the rails.

I seriously doubt the 3 bolt will benefit in any way over the 4 bolt. But I don't subscribe to sloppy mechanics channel, so I'm not expert.

He's not asking about rocker arms.

Early model xlinks had issues for sure.

I've had one of the newer models for the better part of 2 years now without issue.

Just for clarification, you're not tuning the xlink or for the xlink, you're tuning the additional airflow that comes in. 9 out of 10 times if the tune isn't touched, you'll go into REP mode.

I've decided to keep the Holley hi ram for now. I'll see how it does and if I feel there is something missing I'll remove and put in the trailblazer intake. I also down the trunion upgrade too as well as the lifters. I just received Ford 39# injectors and the fuel pressure regulator and all the fitting for fuel line to intake.

Most people on here, myself included, are looking for street performance with a few track runs. That is where the stock intake reco coming from.

Looking for wot performance on the track, that Holley is probably going to work well for you.
