Default 6.0 build help

I'm wanting to make 400hp at the fly wheel but be able to daily drive. Don't really want a stall if I don't have to. I've done alot of searches but no good answers. I'm not building a drag truck. Thanks for the help

lq4 or lq9? the lq4 cam with 325 stock. Good long tube headers and exhaust, A TBSS or NNBS intake manifold with 90mm TB, and a good tune and you will be close. If you want a cam the 212/218 low lift will add more lowend torque and pull harder up top.

You leave so much on the table with a factory converter. You can get a a mild converter and still dd.

tr220 is still pretty small for a 6.0, but will run good. Seeing that you didn't initially want to go with a higher stall converter, I'd say around a 2800. I'd give performance industries or yank a call, and tell them what I want out of a torque converter.

vinci trucker 216/224 cam in that 6.0 will daily drive great on stock stall
Add a lil head work and 400hp is had
6.0 and a trucker cam has made 370-380 look up dyno charts
