Picked up the truck yesterday. I wont be able to really push it until I get tuned next week. Part throttle driving is so much different than the 5.3. Off idle you can really feel the torque the 6.o has. This is definately the motor that should have came with the truck!

I think Im going to run the 3.1 pulley and try to run more timing. I dont want to run more the 8 pounds of boost, so I might eventually step down to a 3.0 pulley and call it a day. Really curious to see what its going to dyno at. Hoping somewhere in the 450+ range.

Hope it stays cool like this so you can run well on the dyno! Damn, now i wish i had a 6.0L! Guess i'll have to start saving.

 

Damn all you people with the 6.0! These threads make me want a 6.0 bad but it's tough balancing money for projects as it is.
