just get a 2001 or newer with aluminum heads. doesn't matter if it is a lq4 or lq9, they are the same other than the pistons and either will work with the 4l60e or the 4l80e.

the new trucks dont have EGR's anymore. hmm maybe i will take mine off then.
could you take a 03 6.0 and put it in a 2000 truck that has a cable throttle body, or would there be a lot more modifications to do?
