Tranny was something I was woried about, how far can the stock 4l60e be pushed before problems emerge (hp range). Also, how do I get in touch with Fast Chip and how does that work. Thanks for all the help

This is their site with contact info. Just take plenty of time with your decisions and it will work. You might consider doing many of your supporting mods before addition of the charger kit and tuning. I would start with a good limited slip or locker, then headers and exhaust work. You may want to upgrade the trans, but a shift kit and servos upgrade might suffice for a while.

I already have a B&M shift kit, and Flowmaster duals. My next project was headers and cuts. Also, what is the best way to get around your cats. Do you completly take them out, and put in straight pipe, gut the stockers, or put high-flow ones in????? How do I get in contact with Fast Chip? Do I send them my whole computer???? any help is great, thanks

You can remove your cats, gut the stockers with a straight pipe through them, or use high flow aftermarket units. This is up to you and your state inspection. Some computer tuning will probably be needed to get the most out of removing your cats also. The Fast Chip website I listed in post 12 has contact information. Where are you located? An in person tune or dyno tune would be the best, but you can send them your computer and a detailed list of your truck and all of its modifications. A good gain can be had with just the bolt ons and the proper tuning.

I am located in Huntington, WV. I will probbaly use high-flow cats, as I am going to use long tubes w/ 3in collectors, and probbaly 3in cuts, so new 3in cats after that, then a new y-pipe maybe. I think (from what I saw on the website) I can just get in touch with fast chip, and order the chip for my truck, as they likely already have them. They said that they are all the time making new programs for new applications, so I say just one of their chips, plus the finished exhaust, intake, MAF, and some good slicks. Then possibly a procharger setup after all the smaller stuff is in place. I am kinda trying to decide whether to keep my truck, and hotrod it, or get a WS-6 T/A and start in on that.....thanks for all the help though
