Back to the cam thing. The 01-02 LS1's have a 5.3 truck cam in them, so it would most likely be the same as all 01-up 5.3 truck cams. Dont know about the earlier 5.3's, but I think there was a cam change in there somewhere.

I was running a set of stock 6.0L heads on my 5.3L but I'm not 100% sure if it was optimum or not. I know whatever I did worked but could I have been hurting perfomance by doing so? I will probably never know. LOL
