what would it take to put an 05' 5.3L motor into a 98 2dr tahoe with a 5.7?

i recently bought a tahoe with a a lot of miles, and a friend of mine has a 5.3 for sale so i figured i could put that in the tahoe. anybody have any input? thanks

 

It will take some work, not impossible by a long shot. I would go to LS1Truck.com and check out some of their conversions. It's been done it that bodystyle a few times by a couple of different guys over there.

 

a friend just put a ls1 in a 01 s10 blazer and 1badc10 just put a 5.3 in a 86 modle truck so not hard
