Go with an ORY and forget about the cats. If were you I would go with the pacesetters or LPP. Even if they do rust you can buy another set and still come out cheaper than the dynatechs. There won't be any noticeable difference in performance if you go with the cheaper set, they just might not last as long. But then again they may last you forever. Spend the extra cash on other performance upgrades.

The only reason I went with AR headers is because Pacesetter doesn't make a set for the NNBS 4WD. I would have went with them otherwise.

Don't know of anyone running the LPP's yet, I believe that they're fairly new. As for needing the cats, it depends on where you live. You need them here in New Jersey to pass the visual inspection...

i bought pacesetters and love 'em only down fall is that you will need collectors and they leak a little. throw the cats away. Im not running cats at all with an x-pipe and 2 chamber flowsm.

I'm not a fan of Paces, they are fine if you just want performance. But I like an all-around header. Buy a header that will last years upon years and you will be much happier in the longrun I believe. I also go flanges over slip fit any day of the week. Slip fit is good only if the pipes fit together perfectly. Problem is this is rarely the case in my experience. So people will tell you to weld on v-flanges. Add in more cost.

pacesetters work great but you literally have to be crazy to pass up stainless for 500 bucks. thats how all headers should be made.

you see I agree with GMCtrk. If I'm going to spend the time and money an my truck I want something that will lasts a long time. I do like the sound of the Lpp but have no idea about the quality. I also live in Austin TX if that helps with my CAT question
