Default 5.3l - 5.7l ??

Just wondering if anyone knows if the 5.3L Block can be made to be a 5.7L by boring and honing the cyllinders to 3.900"? Are the sleeves thick enough to do this? I want to build a stock displacement supercharged 5.7L LS1, but want to use an iron block for strength.... and I just happen to have a 5.3L block kicking around, so boring and honing out my current block would most likely be easier to me.

Thanks for any help.

It's been done before, just get the block sonic checked. If it turns up okay, it can be bored out to a stock LS1 bore.
