Before you spend a dime spend about 200 hours reading on this forum and others about guys installing turbos. It is way more involved than you would think.

+1 for ^

I was in a similar boat as you, I had the truck but no turbo experience.
I read up on here on turbos, kits, $, and so on.
If you have an actual question just PM people who have done it. but first read their build threads.
After all of that go back to your bank and look for the money lol
Good luck

Read build threads. Learn about turbo setups. 500-600 hp isn't tough to accomplish, but you gotta learn a lot before pulling triggers.

Most likely you will be buying a turbo kit no? Call Trick Performance or On3 performance for a complete turbo kit.

From there you gotta look into your drivetrain.

Go fo 60Lb injectors at least, find a Injector calculator and use it. Yes you need a bigger fuel pump A flex fuel pump may supply that much but better to do your research. also a built 4l60 will handle that fine.
