i am looking into this 5.3 with casting number 12567392 06m03 heads are 706. my current engine is an 02 5.3 i need to know if these have the same crank reluctor. like 24x or whatever my stock o2 would be

i am also going to port on the heads of this new engine and put a custom grind cam in from lloyd elliot. this engine will have a whipple with 11lbs of boost.

 

If you are going to bother with an engine swap, why another 5.3?

 

Well I havnt found a single ls1 or 6.0 near me. How much more power will a 6.0 make with boost than the 5.3? Also will it hold the power better?
