Default 5.3 Performance-

My bro has a 04 5.3L silverado Z71- and he wants to some more power out of it his plans are-

JET chip stage 2
JET thermostat
K&N air filter
Nelson ECU (WILL THIS KEEP WARRANTY?)
Long tube headers (please recommend a company)
no cat w/ 2.5" exhaust and 40 series
Underdrive pullies (please recommend a company)
Grantelli MAF
MSD coil packs

Do you guys think he should do anything different like e-fans or something else or use different bolt ons? he just wants to make it a bit quicker he plans on turboing it later on like 2 years from now....

Just scratch all that stuff and get a Tubo or Magnacharger (Radix) from the get go. I know it cost more up front but its cheaper in the long run did I say RUN yea I did thats what youre bros truck will do if he does this.

what he said ^. your wasting money on alot of that stuff. most of it does nothing for you. these are the best mods for the money if you dont want to put a blower on it.

im pretty sure a blower will not void his warranty. also if he buys a radix im pretty sure they offer a powertrain warranty also

injectors will come with the radix. dont worry about coil packs you dont need them. fuel pump comes with radix. get a set of pacesetter coated long tubes. 3'' exhaust with magnaflow mufflers. get a lingenfelter GT2-3 cam i believe thats the correct one. im not sure on which heads to get. as for the tune i will be tuning before to long unless your in texas and you want a dyno tune from allen

ASM"s Headers fit 4x4's I got my threw Speed & Engineering they are a sponsor here. I would recommend Pacesetter's but I didnt think they fit 4x4's.
Hey Fogle do you have a dyno down there in Waycross or are you just tuning with the labtop.
