5.3 with LS1/LS6 Cam and Octane

Can you run a 5.3L with an LS1 or LS6 cam using 87 octane and a stock tune, or is this a pipe dream that will never happen?

i would just buy a tune if you want to do that to be perfectly safe. im sure you prob. could but i would still get a tune

It's very possible.... and you will not have any idle issues. However, to get the most out of your set up, I would get a custom tune.

yes, if you dont mind two footing it alot also with the stock tune you could get away with running 80 octane timing tables are very conservative
