I have 01 tahoe on 35's with 4;88 gearsvwith 3200 circle d convertor paceseter LTs, prc 2.5 5.3 heads ad 224r cam nelson mail tune my question is when pulling up to a red light the truck acts like it is going to cut off then comes back up to regular idle it happens even when you hit the gas in park when it comes back down and does the same thing i have cleaned the MAF and throttle body checked for intake and throttle body leaks i also went to the track tonight and i used to run a 10.2 without heads and cam with them i ran 10.1 10.2, and 10.3 and i cant figure it out please help

 

You are probably gonna have to datalog to get the tune finalized. My truck did that after the cam install until I went and had it tuned. It took the tuner about 3 tries to get it to idle decently. We loaded a tune, went and datalogged, made changes, tried again and then finally worked out the VE and timing tables.

 

ok will try to get to that gonna get it dyno tune soon but anyody know why it is running same time and slower tune maybe?

 

Probably so, the efficiency tables are probably way off. Get it dynoed and then try it again. Mail order tunes can work, just don't count on a perfect one right off the bet, the tuners are having to make a lot of assumptions.

aanyone else have anymore input not saying the tune is not off just trying to get as much input on this so i can get it fixed also does anyone know a good dyno tuner around the sc area
