picking up a truck 5.3 for the LS swap into my thirdgen Z. the guy has a new complete gasket set that he will sell me for $100 (02 motor, he was gonna replace his 02 5.3 high miles). I will be needing to put on an LS1/6 intake, fbody water pump/oil pan/manifolds, and i am sure will pull the valve covers at least to check things out and prob do a cam change with springs too. so, since this gasket kit is sold as a "4.8/5.3/6.0 kit", can I assume that the intake gasket will work with my proposed intake swap? I figure the other stuff should work (oil pan and other stuff).

 

anybody have some help on this??

 

The intake I think will be the same just get on oriellys website pull up gaskets for both intakes to see if same part number but I believe so
