5.3 forge pistons
#11
If you read what I wrote I said Mahles if you plan on boring it. I posted that if he was interested in an inexpensive .030 over piston.

I believe you would still have to get them custom made for that unless you got replacment forged 5.7L pistons.
Again I believe only weisco has has forged slugs for the 5.3L also avalible for over bores too...
If you have some new info that Mahle is making forged pistons for the 5.3L application, Then please share it with the rest of us. I do know the have stock replacemnt type but not forged for that application.

Mahle makes a 5.7 piston that will fortify a bored 5.3 nicely and for a relatively good price (vs Diamond). Atleast that's what I remember reading back when I was going to go for an iron 5.7... let me look around again and post up a link or something.

Yeah I see that... I thought I saw some forged pistons for sale when I was speccing my motor out for a 5.3 bore .030 over. I guess I was mistaken, unless they just don't shlve them anymore

I looked and even called on them. They said they have no intrest in producing them at this time for the 5.3L application. weisco on the other hand was already working on them.
I just didn't find out untill a month or 2 after I bought my .020 over bore's and had the work done...
