Default 5.3 build help!

Okay guys I'm wanting to build my 5.3 I've already got all or most bolt ons, even have 4:10 gears in the rear and corvette servo in tranny. Was put running most things around the greenville SC area but now it's time to do internals and I personally do not know where to start, I've had thought on 6.0 stroker nitrous swapping it but I'm not sure I'd like to stick with my 5.3 and make around 550 whp when I'm finished. Any suggestions??

Slap a supercharger and there with nothing else and you'll come close to meeting your goal.

Bottem end never really needs to be touched for the power you want but a cam swap will help with power.

Then the transmission will likely explode.

Thats a lot of power for a 5.3. Do you consider nitrous to be as NA as possible?

AFR205's with a big cam, and a 87mm truck intake spinning to 6700 or so with a 150 shot would get you there.

It's either nitrous or just bite the bullet and go with an on3 turbo

To get over even 400rwhp you will need nitrous/turbo/supercharger. you will most likely not get over 400rwhp without any of those.

Why stay NA by the time you are done you will have way over the cost of the blower with way less reliability especially if you are spraying it. But to each his own i've been down the same road in the past. But as stated that's a lofty goal for a 5.3. It's time for more displacement and you'll get there easily.
