Default 5.3 - 6.0 Swap - Not sure what I need -

Well other then the engine!! haha.

Okay.

I have 2000 Yukon w/ 5.3 4wd - I want to swap it out and put a 6.0 in it.

Do I retain the 4l60e trans? Or do I get the 4l80e (isn't that what is included with 6.0's?) Like the escalde and denali?or do they not come with 4l60e?!
I would rather the 4l80e but I am looking to make the swap easy ie: no welding and minimal fabricating.

What else do I need? 6.0 Computer, Ls1 edit?

Where are the best places to start looking (other then ebay).

Anyother suggestions? I am looking at supercharging it (again) but nothing crazy 6-9 psi

Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions

You can use the original trans just as long as you find a 01 or later 6.0. The stock computer will work just fine and since you plan to supercharge it, then maybe a good rebuilt trans is in order and maybe some tuning.
