Question 4WD Trucks In Here

What is everybodys gas mileage w/lift and mods? I'm just curious as to what I'll be looking to expect. If you could, list mods, lift, and other BS and let me know. I'm sure this will help a lot of people out.

I got an extcab Z71 LT stepside. 5.3/4L60E/AutoTrac. I have 33" tires and it gets about 14.5mpg city/17mpg freeway. Mods are listed in sig...basically stock. Shift points are off, as is converter lockup, etc.

Biggest mpg killer is the tire size. 95% of these trucks come with 3.73:1 gears and with the 33" tire it lugs down the freeway. I hit about 1850-1900rpm @ 70MPH. 33" tire goes with 4.10:1 well.

My Z71 at it's worst with 3.73's and 31" tires got about 9/18.

That's stock hieght and all the mods listed in sig.

It would smoke the BF AT's as long as I cared to leave black marks. It didn't have much problem hitting 110, which is where I had the speed limiter set. It was a lot of fun to drive like it was too.

I'm getting 15/20 running stock height and tires (285/16's) and the G80. Not too bad I guess.

4.10's, 265/75/17's, 5.3, 5,900lbs. No lift (sorry).

Getting 16 in town, mid-18's when I take it easy on the highway.

My last truck, a '00 ZR2 Blazer had a 5" lift, on the factory 2" lift. I had stock sized tires on it, and got very close to the same milage as stock. I don't remember numbers right now. And that's with the little 4.3.

I've managed a best of 11 with alot of highway driving but usually see somewhere in the 8s. This is with about 75% non-highway (stop and go country roads). The truck - modded 8.1/Allison with 325/65/18 tires and 4.10s.
