yeah i love the sound of my flowmasters too. but i'm thinking of switching to a better flowing muffler. i'm gunna try borlas, they sound pretty mean (not quite as raspy as flowmaster though).

What are the disadvantages of putting straight pipes? I used to have a 3 inch into dual 2 1/4 merge pipe where the muffler is, but I lost some on the bottom end. I think that could be attributed to the hydraulic bends in the merge pipe. I was thinking about putting an X pipe and straight thru pipes after that, but I want to keep the connection, so the Y pipe can be unbolted and removed. I want LOUDER!!! How would I do this?

cash, stright pipes (no muffler) will decrease backpressure which will result in loss of torque

I have the Dynomax Ultra Flow welded 3 inch in 2 by 2.5 out and it sounds great. Had my Dad drive by me at full throttle and damn it just screams. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />
