for me the bigest draw back to the 400 is no computer control, i like being able to set my shift points and lock up mph. i dont know why a 400 would be better at all, the 80 was prety easy to get in there.

For you guys runnin' the 4L80 in big HP applications... which shift kits/torque convertors are you running... if any??
