Default Beat up Subject

Hey all. Just wanting some info on a beat up subject. I am gonna spend some dough on my truck soon and I want a cam and springs. I was thinking the crane dual springs with ti retainers and I am just not sure about the cam. I want a cam that is gonna have a good lope at idle and not kill me even more in gas. My plans soon are the yank tt3k, nelson tune, asp, double roller, ported ls6 pump, and I think the right one for the small rad is the flex 295 fans. I want to do all this in one weekend and well just gearing up for it, or gathering parts is the fun part. I need some advise on the cam please. I see the common one is low 520's lift and low 220's dur with a 114 lsa. Not sure about this though but just need some suggestions. I am installing the transgo and billets along with a dual 2.5 magnaflow in/out in a couple weeks and I want to get this going before too late in spring. Got any suggestions on the cam or should I just join the crowd and go with the common one that most are going with. Sorry for beating this subject up. I was hoping for the sticky cam post but hasn't happened yet. Thanks in advance
