4l80e swap in can this be drop in plug and go or is it more involed

Depends what you mean 'plug and go'.
A buddy and I swapped one into his truck from 'drive in' to 'drive out' in 9.5hrs.
This included rebuilding the transfer case/swapping the input shaft, tuning the PCM, relocating the crossmember. It CAN be done as long as you have all the gear ready to go.
