Good luck on the flywheel bolts! took about 2 weeks to get mine-had to come from GMs supplier. Mine is still not finished altough I did drive it a couple miles last Sat. I am off for 6 straight days starting Thursday, so maybe just maybe....

hey blown. didn't you say your truck or tranny was gonna be in one of the chevy mags. could you tell me which one? super chevy? just wanna check it out

Yeah if only I was not such an idiot, I had the bolts....Just mis placed them


Hey Whitt, we decided to try the stock first gear to see what happens. Hughes says with such a light truck it may help with traction, we will see. If I am not happy, they will put it in for me. With the stall and gears, I hope it is good. I should still be @ the top of third through the lights.

Yeah it is going to be in Super Chevy (sooner or later) We need to get the trans in and get it tuned and running right before we do the article.

More pics of the progress. This is not the finished product, just have it in and fabbed up. I will be boxing in the x memeber tomorrow and finishing up some other fabrication, but I am sure you guys will get the idea.

Looking good there Brian. Nice way to modify the x member.

That stock first gear is stronger than the low ratio set also.

yeah that is another reason I left it stock....I plan to launch under 5-6 psi.
