Default 42lb injectors

I was wondering if 42lb injectors would be to much for my truck. They are free to me. I wouldn't put them in until I installed the 9psi pulley, cam, stall, and nelson tune. Do you think I would need to get a bigger fuel pump to? Still kinda new at the computer controlled engine mods. I'm used to the muscle car stuff. Cause I have a 74 Nova at home running low 10's with a small block.

I have them in mine now even though Im only at like 7#. They are running at less than 55-60%. If anything it will keep your fueling more consistent and less chance of lockup like you have running those factory injectors at 120% all the time. Nope, dont need a FP, but you will need a custom tune.

how do you know how many pounds your injectors are pulling? Does it run rich with the big injectors in it? or I guess the tune takes care of most of that.

The tune will take care of the air/fuel ratios. If you swapped them out without any tuning, it would run very rich.
