Default 408 is done and running.

This is day four of the new motor. It is perfect for me. Torque everywhere, no dead spots. Oddly enough it feels like there is no actual powerband. It pulls just as hard at 3,400 as it does at 6,100. I finally got the idle and hot starts under control. The only bad part is that it surges at anything under 10% throttle, for now.

Callies crank
Eagle rods
Diamond pistons
TR230/230@112+4
Ported 6.0 heads 302@600 stock valves (no numbers with the aftermarkets)
10.5 compression
Comp roller rockers
Double timing chain
and more....

Thanks alot to AP Engineering, Thunder, and Kevin at East Side (for tuning tips).

Cool, can't wait to get mine in and running. Our setups are similar, except cam and CR.

How is traction treating you with that setup?

It feels just as good as the Procharger (when it was heat soaked) in the summer. Nothing equals the Procharger in the winter. I took 0.040 off of the heads. Timing is set at 26* and I have no knock retard. I have POS 275/45R20s so traction sucks.
I would like to try a bigger cam. However, for now I will stick with this one, I like the torque. Next week, I will start squeezing it.
