Figured I would post my little towing friend....a built 408 ci stoker

























It's our family ride and my wife's DD...

Glad you made it over to this forum finally! Truck looks good and the motor looks great! 408 is perfect for towing.

Stock heads....had the local engine shop clean, port them when they machined out the block.

It was night and day from the stock brakes. I travel to Colorado a couple of times a year from Tulsa, OK. And I can tell you that I have never had any issues with my brakes i.e. fade or feel when going up Eisenhower pass or the Rockys. This was the first major MOD I did...I would recommend this to anyone with a XL as it is a extremely heavy truck to slow down.

The braking is instant now.

Haha!! I did change some of the lettering fonts around but I did use the Ford one as my template!
