Default 4" in/out Magnaflow's?

I have a friend who will sell me, dammed near give me, a pair of brand new SS Magnaflow 4" id inlet and outlet mufflers.

Any reason to think this would be a bad idea given my modifications?

I'd have to dump them as it would probably not be possible to find anyone to run them to the back.

Maybe could run them out the side?

Thanks, Jim

They will not fit on stock piping, but you can make them fit. But I'm with Silver-Mod-O on this one... WAY TOO BIG!

Too big for what?

Obviously much bigger than "needed" but they are new and they are cheap and they are Magnaflows so why not?

Of course the pipes would have to be enlarged... goes without saying, but would they be a performance problem? With the Radix and the big heads and cam would they work or ???

Something like this may help you with your problem. Why not use the 4"?

I'm thinkin that the Dart 225's flowing into the Pacesetters, then no cats and flowing into the dual 4" Magnaflow's dumped out the side ought to breath pretty good

Will there be a loss of power because of a need for some backpressure?

That ought to sound wicked at boost!
When have you ever heard of a supercharged engine liking backpressure?
Worried you don't have enough down low?
