i had a 5.3 motor in my truck and i blew it so i put a 4.8 motor in my truck and can i use the same vin that was in it from the 5.3 or do i need to change the vin to a 4.8 vin in the computer with the tech 2 from the dealer

dont do anything, just toss in the 4.8 and it will run fine. the computer should be able to adjust for it.

 

no if you are going to get it reflashed then just give them your vin number. if not just run the 4.8 comp. but what i got out of your ??? is that YES YOU CAN USE ANOTHER COMP IN YOUR TRUCK
