4.8 Supercharged?
#11
What is the 6.0 H.O? I saw that there were different power ratings for the Escalade based on 2wd and AWD. Also, my truck is a 2wd
and the 4.8, it most likely has the 4L60, right(haven't taken the time to check)? Is the 4L60-E just a designation for the escalade trannies.
What transmissions do the 6.0's come mated with stock? I want to know if I should beef it up right away or wait till the stock one dies?
My instinct says do it right away but not sure that it is necessary as I don't know if 360-370 HP/TQ is pushing the limit?

the 4L60-E is the electronically shifted 4L60 - standard in all light duty pickups since 1995ish (maybe earlier)...it replaced the 4l60 (which itself is just a revamped TH700R4)
the 6.0 are backed by either the 4L65-E in the 1500HD's or the 4L80-E in the 2500 and 2500HD's
the stock 6.0's 360 ft/lbs TQ is right at the outside edge of what GM rates the 4L60-E. parish8 has proved that it can take alot more than that.....but not for very long
