A custom tune will do a lot for you... even if you have little or no mods. A cut out will do wonders.. it'll free up your exhaust and unlock a few horses to the wheels. It'll sound like open headers, bc basically thats what a cut out is.
A tune can probably help anywhere from .2-.5 tenths on your et. Delete torque management, set the rev limiter higher, have it tuned to be geared for the track... do you have any mod plans or do u have any mods?

Just like SSLOW said a custom tune will for sure knock of that time plus maybe a lil bit more. If you do the cut out a set of headers a t.c you would see a sec drop.

what would i need to put in an ls1 or like ive been reading a 6.0 escalade motor into it?this thing is definately not what i expected it to be...way too slow!i expected at least high 9s in the 1/8th stock...i just dont see the point in putting full bolt ons not including headers or cam,and it not be at least into the mid 8's.

a cutout will help some and hinder others due to the mods and tunes. a good tune is worth a lot more than just .2 to .5 off times.and a stall is a great mod for at least .5 off with traction and a 3000 stall. but prepare to do some tranny mods first.
