Question 4.8 pistons in 5.3

toying with the idea of putting 4.8 pistons(flat-tops) in a 5.3. what kinda comp would this net me with stock heads and gaskets? if its over 11-1 i wont do it. i got a 4.8 and a 5.3 crank and rods layin around that need to be put to use. come on you compression calculating gurus!

according to the cr calculator, with a stock gasket(.053 thick) and 0 deck hight to be safe it only come to 10.3-1 sounds kinda low to me but maybe not. what do you guys think?

4.8L = flat top pistons
5.3L = dished pistons

Saw an article on this recently, but I don't think there were numbers to show what the numbers would be. Looking...

It can be done, the only diff in the two is the stroke. Bore is the same. Have you tried the search button? May find the thread 1BADC10 is talking about.
