well after all im stuck with a 4.8 due to the fact our dealer doesnt import any 5.3's etc ...!!
can i do anything with this engine ? a transplant of the 6.2 maybe ? or should i just supercharger it that is if anyone makes something for it right now .. i heard about the turbo but trust me when i say here inthis country a turbine would melt after couple of runs it will be hot as shiz ..

ideas suggestions are welcomed

Check out a Magna Radix..you will get at least 140 RWHP...and its not too difficult to install

true, BUT the 4.8 is a better motor than a 5.7 any day

 

lol 5.7 is an old generation and to each his own .. why would i shoot for the 5.7 when the 6.0 exist ?

 

right on...the 4.8 and 6.0 are on the same basic platform for design (hence the need for the Magna)

 

im all over the magne .. but whats the difference between the NBS 4.8 and the classic 4.8 ?
