The 4.8 just isn't enough, time for a 5.7 build, but I need some opinions

Congrats on the new block, hope your finger's OK (got any pics...of the finger). Didn't take you too long to get tired of the new heads and cam huh? You swap internal engine parts more than GMCtrk swaps headers lol.

Pics will be up soon of all the goodies and the parts i need to finish it off...

Thanks again Chase!

June/July... I got to buy a few more goodies, not to mention another CAM

Here are some pics

As you can see the previous owner blew a hole right threw the piston... The piston wall is just fine, it has a minor scratch in it, barely noticable... The block will be fully machined and balanced so i am not worried about it..

As for the parts i am going to get....

Cam will be something like 228/230 .6XX/.6XX @ 111+? It is a FTI (Ed Curtis grind) Street Sweeper HT...

I am also going to get a timing chain, haven't picked one out yet, new oil pump (maybe ported), all new sensors, LS6 valley cover, LS7 lifters (i think that is what they are called)...

I had Chase drive my truck and he thinks it has a good bit of life left in it, so I got some time on that one... I mainly just need to adjust the TC pressures it what he recommended... The block will be going to the shop in July...
