Question 4.8 Intake Manifold upgrade?

Just wondering if we can use the LS1/LS6 (Or something else) intake manifold to grab a few extra ponies? Anyone do this?

You can but it isn't worth the hassle of doing it.The truck intake flows just as good and you will probably loose hp, and low end power by going to an ls1 intake.

Yup there's no benefit for doing this swap. There's lots of others who have asked this question, too. I also wondered, but found out there was no gains and alot of modding just to make it fit. Why go for all that hassle for nothing?
