4.8 intake manifold to LS1 intake manifold?

Default 4.8 intake manifold to LS1 intake manifold?

is it worth the swap or are they the same. i doesnt appear to me that they are the same. i am putting an LS1 in my truck nad i was just gonna use my 4.8 intake manifold but i found a good deal on an LS1 manifold, should i buy it? what all would be involved, it comes with the fuel rail and injectors... i was just gonna use my 4.8 injectors to. TIA guys

if your going to use the ls1 intake you have to use the ls1 style injectors..your 4.8 injectors are too short.. plus if your return style you will need return style fuel rails

no sorry i must have said that wrong, the LS1 intake manifold is coming with injectors, i was planning on using my 4.8 injecotrs with the 4.8 manifold unless i get this LS1 manifold that already has the injecotrs and fuel rail

whats return style?? im sorry i dont really know to much about fuel injection lol

i would do the truck intake for easier, cheaper, same results IMO

well thats what i was wondering would the LS1 intake manifold be that much better than the 4.8 that its worth swapping, im gonna have to swap and intake manifold either way obviously, but is it worth spending the money

i wouldnt. the cool thing about the ls1 intake is that you can throw vette covers on top of the motor.

lol so thats it? not that i wouldnt mind have some sweet fuel rail covers but i aint gonna buy it if i don thave to

ls1 isnt worth the effort. and for what your trying to do. stick with the truck intake.

if you went to ls6 manifold, id say yes but the ls1 is said to be less efficient than the truck at all rpms
