i guess my 4.8 turbo might be ok if i can ever get that damn ic in keep pushing it lat me know how much boost i can run. are you still gona sell me those injectors. i can't wait to get my turbo on. do you think a goal of 400rwhp daily driven is a good safe goal for a stock 4.8.

i dont really have the $200 diference between selling the 57's and buying the 96's right not so i am not sure when i will be selling them. i have some house things that all of my spare money must go towards till they are done.

i will get a pump gas hp when i goto the dyno. i bet it is close to 400rwhp with the cut out open. your right about the intercooler, it makes a huge diference.

i still say a 6.0 swap is one of the best bang for the buck mods you can do for anyone wanting to pick up some power.

i recently got a Regency RST...several of my friends got em too...they have a 4.8 w 5 sp and 3.73 gears...it came with JBA shortys, wires, & K&N...i put a Superchips tune on it along with a crank pulley/balancer & some flexalite efans...on the dyno it makes 272 rwhp & 280ftlbs...motor pulls strong to 6 grand...i was thinkin on puttin in a 6.0, maybe not now...but i want at least 350 on the rear wheels

Parish, your tests helped me once again to understand why I picked the motor I am going with. Guess what the 4.8 motor is? Its a long rod, short stroke motor. I am sure you can push this motor just as hard as your 6.0 motor. The reason being is this motor puts less wear and tear on your crank, your pistons and your bearings. So how much more money do you need to get you on the dyno? I just might be willing to sponsor this test.
