It will be a fun ride either way should scoot. I once made the mistake of listening to the old timers and let them convince me to destroke my 406 sbc to a 377.. It was a huge mistake.. Lost .4 tenths, and 1.5 mph after I changed gears and converter... The 377 was fun tho it would rev forever.

 

I've always wondered about doin this myself and building a rev monster.. It would be great with boost

NA you wont gain any advantage other than more RPM but less rwtq/rwhp everywhere under the curve.

 

well this is where im at , im going to pull apart the bottom end if there isnt any issues i will leave it a 6.0 with my heads and cam if there is any issues i will destroke it with atleast a flat top piston goin for atleast 11.5 to 1 . i have built alot of short stroke sbc and bbc they just keep pulling they are fun, long stroke is fine for a dd or just in something heavy and dont get me wrong turbos are awesome but i have always loved all motor combos we will see this weekend
