manifold will bolt up along with all other accessories, it's just a simple swap - you need the flexplate off of your 4.8L to match up to the tranny (out of a 2500 it should have previously been mounted to a 4L80e, LQ9 you would have to do this b/c it would have been mounted to a 4L65e). EGR is extra weight, just be sure to have it turned off in the tune.

didn't the crank switch midway through 01? IMO, just get a stock 80e and do it at the same time because your going to need it soon anyway.
