I was really debating the cam issue for the cost verse hp gains...For the same money i could do a good NOS install an gain 100 to 150 hp. Not to mention i need more converter for a really good cam set-up. Good luck.

 

but you could run a good cam like a 212/218 or a 216/220 with the converter you have and then spray it and have that much more

any progress yet? i'm looking at cams for my 5.3/5 spd & the 212/218 on a 114 is what i was considering, but i was also curious about the 216/220.
i DD the truck & have 3.73s. LTs are coming soon (hopefully). it's also 4x4, so it ain't a road warrior - i just want more hp/tq, mainly in the low & mid RPMs
