alright ive posted this conspiracy one other time but now its getting weird. i looked under the hood of my dads denali 6.0, on the little sticker it says 6.0 Liters, then right under that theres a serial number that says 6.0 in it. on mine, it says 4.8 Liters on the sticker, but then on the serial number under it theres a 5.3. i need someone to go check under their hood, someone who has a 4.8. tell me if its the same thankyou

 

Where's the sticker at? I want to see what a 5.3L truck has.

maybe this is just saying that a specific part is from the 5.3 ? The part that the serial number is on?

 

where i am seeing it is on top of the air filter box..
it says 4.8 liters, then it has a line of serial numbers which by chance has a 5.3 in the middle then some more numbers after it. I dunno what the hell it is

 

If youre really worried about it open that motor up and see for yourself. :p

 

My 5.3 has 5.3 in the serial number and so do the 4.8s. Get over it man. You have a 4.8!!!

 

Sorry Hyper, my 5.3 has 5.3 in both locations. Looks like you got a 4.8.....but, at least it's a factory freak. :p

the 02 and up have the sticker on the airbox. I have the same truck as you do Thunder... I mean Hyperlite. And the motor designation is 4.8 but the number is 5.3, the 4.8 and 5.3 have the same block. Perhaps its a conspiracy and there really is no 4.8 and all the "factory freaks" are really 5.3's??????????
