Default 4.56 gears?

would 4.56 gears be to much gear in these trucks? i am going to change the gear and put a posi on the truck. i have a hypertech also. just wondering if i would run out of gear in the 1/4. i am on motor now but will go ack to gas later... so what are ur thoughts on running out of gear on motor and on gas? this is all with a 28 10.5w et drag i hope

i run those gears and i dont run out of RPMs when racing, and i have a 27" tire, with the 28" and the fact that it will expand towards the end of the track, i wouldnt worry about running out of RPMS

It depends on your mods as to whether or not you'll run out of gear. With a higher stall converter you may run out of gear. I have 3.42's and with the 3200 I cross at close to 5000 rpms. I know of another truck with 4.10's and Vig 3000 and he used to cross at 5700 before he sold the truck.
