4.56 Gear
#1
Has anybody installed this gear?I figure with the weight of a truck and the 29in. tall tires it's gotta be good for at least .5 sec! I've ran a best of 9.510@ 74.3mph in the 1/8 with the basic bolt-ons.I currently have the factory 3.73,the best i can figure is a 450rpm increase at cruising speeds?

that gear would be cool until you wanted to get some slicks. i think the only sizes they have are around 26". which mean you would have about a 5.09 gear. so have fun just racing in the 1/8th mile.

30" et drags if you dont mind grinding to fit the 15" wheels, have fun with gas mileage!
hoosier makes a 28" drag on a 16", not sure if thats big enough though. too lazy to check it out

Here is a chart for 28" slicks with 4.56 gears. I think they would work pretty good. They would definately get things moving faster as long as you can hook.

Here is a site with a nice rpm range calculator.
