i believe edelbrock makes the headers you are looking for and comp makes the cams.

i have, but not in full sizes. plenty of work on the 4.3 s-series between my and my buddies. there is alot of room to make that 4.3 run well.

I had an 01' rcsb silv with the 4.3 running 15.1's.

They are nice motors, and have alot of potential.

Mine had e-fans, jet stage 2 chip(still have it if u want it),TB blade,K&N,Dual Flowmaster,4.10's,under drive pully,and a jet SCU 2000.

headers, gears, and edit should get you into the 15's. a 100 shot should get you low 14's to high 13's. hellbents10 has done a few 4.3's on nitrous and has had great success. his s10 with very few bolt on's went 13.2 on a 100 shot in hot weather.

I am running a 75 dry shot on my Blazer 4.3 and wit hthe stall spraying off the line it pulle alot harder than my truck for the 60'. You can safely run a 75 dry shot with no other mods on a 4.3.

One thing about the 4.3 in the big trucks is they have the huge y-pipe and free flowing exhaust for a V6. Headers may make some power, but not that much. Also the headers for the 4.3 are @ $400. You can get the 1.6 rockers for $320 and get a good 10-15 HP and TQ.

EDIT: my 01' 4.3 had rockers also. Sorry its been awhile.

I would reccomend headers, pullies, TB mod, 3" free flowing muffler, Nice CAI, and a little juice and she will go good. Mine did OK.
