no i asked him to safe tune and unlock so i could have it dyno tuned. so you think maybe my timing and fuel trims are so far out thats why it wont run? its not that i can just hold the throttle and it stays running. if i dont constantly keep slapping the throttle from 1/4 to wide open it will die every time. there is no sweet spot that keeps her running.

 

Yea I don't see how it would run with all those modifications on a stock tune. Nothing safe about that.

 

ill call the dyno shop and see if maybe they can mess with my PCM so i can get a "safe" tune from them.

i have 2 broken feet. not thrilled with jumping anything. i emailed the dyno shop and i hope they get back to me monday.

 

i figured it out. i bought a ford excursion. my truck now hates me for being a ford owner.

 

It's just Jealous because FORD circled the problem and highlighted it in blue...

 

ok so i towed the truck to the tuner. he tried to adjust wheatleys safe tune. it was close but to far out for idle. we ended up discovering i had the ls3 map on the truck and its not compatible with my pcm so i had to change it. now sitting on the trailer she will start and idle just fine for about 10 seconds i can rev it if i want but then she cuts out. every time no matter what the run time is the same. it idles ok then drops to about 500 rpm and struggles to stay running and shuts off as if i turned the key off.

 

Bueller? anyone? someone?
