383 LS1 Dyno Numbers
Went to Futral Motorsports yesterday for my dyno-tune. I didn't get chance to put on the ASP Crank Pulley. I took my g/f with me and she had to be back at a certain time so, time was limited.
Here is the chart:
The Blue is run through the full exhaust. The Red is with the cut-outs open! The cut-outs were worth 15rwhp/10rwtq across most of the powerband. Peak #s were a little less than I was expecting. But, I'm still running the stock cats through a full true dual exhaust, truck intake, and stock pulley. I think this is still pretty good considering these restrictions. BIG thanks to Allan Futral who worked his magic! He has been a tremendous help and his customer service is top notch! The first dyno was 341rwhp and the final numbers were 367.85rwhp/365.68rwtq through the cats and 382.2rwhp/376.19rwtq through the cut-outs. Allan told me he wished I could stay so he could mess with it a little bit more, but my g/f had to be back in town by 6:00 and it was a 4 hour drive. I told him my plans about a LS6 intake and bigger stall (running a stock stall) and he seemed to think those would make nice difference.
When I go back in the summer, I plan to have:
-Magnaflow Ceramic Cats
-ASP Crank Pulley
-LS6 intake
-Yank 2600/3000 installed at FMS
I'm very impressed with numbers I've gained 96rwhp/86rwtq from the cammed 5.3 set-up and lots more uner the curve.

I would say wihtt a vicjr or ls6 you are going to atleast gain 20rwhp and a lprobably 5rwhp out of the pulley if not more.
you can add this dyno chart to the list of other ones that proves the truck intake is DEAD at 5500+

I'm running LaPole Mid-length headers with 1 3/4" primaries.
The pulley/fan swap netted me 16rwhp/6rwtq in my cammed 5.3. I think the pulley usually gives 8-10rwhp.
Also, these pulls were in 2nd gear and stock size tires (255/70/16). He did a 3rd gear pull and it put down 374rwhp through the full exhaust.
With a 20% drivetrain loss, I firgured It's making 478/470 at the flywheel.
